Five days after whining about being “shamed” by John MacArthur, Beth Moore struck again on Twitter.
This time it was a snappy response to a post that came from a place of “righteousness,” and revealed her to be hypocritical
Brian Suave, a young pastor of a church in Ogden, Utah, made a tweet on Feb. 7 advising Christian women to dress modestly. Suave’s tweet went viral drawing both harsh criticism and praise.

As you can see, Sauve is pointing out that women, especially Christian, should dress modestly rather than provocatively. This is proper instruction and advice given in a loving manner to dress in a Godly way. Ladies and girls who read their Bibles, are obedient to the Lord and are faithful to Christ would appreciate this.
But it draws the ire of nonbelievers and it definitely did here. It was reported that some pagan women boldly sent pics of their private body parts to Sauve. It also drew the revile from feminists, progressives and even so-called “Christians.”
Wrath of Beth and Eyes of the Nation
Among those criticizing was Moore with a slanderous response, which she later took down. But it was too late. Biblically sound evangelists had already screenshot it, sharing it again for those who had not seen it, as seen here by Tom Buck, a pastor of First Baptist Church in Lindale, Texas.
Around 22,500 responses were made to Sauve’s tweet.
The post and reactions also garnered a lot of national attention.

Let’s examine Moore’s response, which came over 24 hours after Sauve’s tweet and about a day after she posted it.
Dude, there is no world in which we ever want to see the word bra from you again. Mind your own unders.
Wow! Harsh words from a woman who carries the label “Christian evangelical.” You would think she would shout a “Hallelujah!” or “Praise God!” and give Sauve a “pat on the back” kind of response for that. But no. Moore has embraced the social justice infiltration in the church and under the influence of her progressive friends, saw it as misogynistic. And from her own place of self-righteousness, Moore scolded Sauve and closed by telling him to “Mind your own unders.”
Obviously a euphemism for two different words – underwear and business – and a crass and abrasive comment.
Once again, this reflects a different person than the Beth Moore the church world is accustomed to seeing back in the 2000s. Her response is similar to the kind of comments I’ve seen from progressive “Christians” on their Twitter accounts for the past seven years since I first caught wind of the movement.
What once was
Gabriel Hughes, an associate pastor at Buck’s church in Texas and the voice behind the WWUTT (When We Understand The Text) videos, did a two-part video series on a comparison of Moore today and her back in 2008, when she spoke at a conference, giving women advice on how to dress, similar to Sauve’s last month. The Moore of ‘08 was fine with telling something similar to women at a conference, but the Moore of ‘22 took issue of a man saying what he did on social media.
Chicken; Blaming others
When Moore deleted her response on Feb. 9, she made another tweet to explain herself. Was it an apology to Mr. Sauve? Let’s take a look.

No. It was not.
Instead, while claiming she is not a fan of immodesty, she doubles down on her scolding of Sauve with her words, makes another crass comment claiming herself and other women as victims and the men like Sauve to be abusive authoritarians of the patriarchy. Again, This is what progressives do and say.

She has changed
Moore tries to justify that she is still a Christian by saying “my faith in Jesus & my love for Scripture haven’t changed 1 iota” while pinning the blame on “hyperfundmentalist men,” saying “her faith in them has changed and she no longer believes in them.”
In Clouds Without Water, a video in which Justin Peters does a biblical critique of the prosperity gospel, he points out to where an evangelist says “he is not a false prophet.” Peters says that “if he has to say he is not a false prophet, then he is a false prophet.” To paraphrase Peters, if Moore has to say “her faith in Jesus and her love for Scripture haven’t changed 1 iota, then her faith in Jesus and her love for Scripture have changed 1 iota,” and then some more (emphasis my own after the quote).
As for the “hyperfundamentalist men” she says she doesn’t believe? She is pointing to godly men like Sauve, Buck, Hughes, Peters, MacArthur and so forth who preach the whole counsel of God and do not hesitate to speak messages of conviction that are backed by Scripture. This is why these men are despised by progressives, social justice warriors, critical race theorists and left-leaning liberals within the church and are wrongly labeled “fundies,” short and slang for fundamentalists, “white supremacist or white evangelicals,” “the patriarchy,” and so forth. Sadly, Moore’s deceived fan base buys into these hogwash lies from the pit of hell like those of others before her. Proof that she is sliding into progressivism and apostasy.
Count it all joy
So how did Sauve respond? He rejoiced as the Bible commands us to (James 1:2-4). He then used words to expose the wickedness of those who responded with nasty comments, acknowledged the media attention and affirmed Moore’s stance as a heretic.

Sandmann Flashback
Of course most, if not all, remember Nicholas Sandman, the young man from Covington Catholic High School in Kentucky who was caught on camera with other students from his school early in 2019 at a Pro-Life rally in Washington D.C. Sandmann was wearing a Make America Great Again hat, known for supporting then-president Donald Trump, while smiling at a Native American Indian who was beating on his drum.
The video went viral, drew outcry, and wrongly portrayed Sandmann as a racist. And guess who took a shot at Sandman? You got it! Beth Moore. See below.
Accusations against Sandmann were later found out to be lies and the young man, who was 16 years old at the time, filed lawsuits against numerous media outlets and won undisclosed amounts of money and still has some cases pending.
Like she did with Sauve, Moore removed her tweet blasting Sandmann once the truth came out, yet never apologized to the lad for her comments. She would also later post a tweet to cover her actions without any apology made.
Still a hypocrite in need of repentance
Moore was in the wrong for scolding both Sandmann and Sauve and wrong for not apologizing to either man. MacArthur was right for scolding her and she should have accepted a conviction and recognized her need for repentance and change. Instead, she chose to rebel, believing MacArthur was wrong for his “Go Home” comment and expecting an apology, then cries foul on social media when she doesn’t get it. Strangely, she followed with her cowardly behavior toward Sauve the next week. This also shows her hypocrisy.
Moore was once a solid teacher in the faith and she did it with authority. Sadly, she still uses that experience in that authority to believe she is on the right track. She is not. These actions are proof of that. If you are a follower of hers, I encourage you to examine her teachings and online behavior, stop supporting her, pray for her to repent and return to the true saving gospel of Jesus Christ!
